Helloooo!
so I've decided to do reviews on art products I've recently bought and if you like it I guess I'll continue doing them!
the first thing I'm going to review isn't a product but a brand yo may be familiar with called DERWENT. I find that derwent products are really easy to use, especially the graphite pencil range. I also found them great to use for someone like me, who mostly does black and white drawings, to comfortably use colour pencils. I do still mostly do black and white as I feel it's my strongest area, but I also find that with some of the derwent ranges, it can be quite easy to use colours. Derwent also have tutorials on how to use each product on their website - www.pencils.co.uk - which can be found in both written and video forms. I use a lot of Derwent products now and I'm sure I'll do more reviews on their products in a little more detail in the future.
Finally, the second product I've recently bought were the Spectrum Noir pens in the Turquoise pack. In this pack I got six different shades of turquoise from light to dark. Spectrum Noir is a brand of artist pens and, as they are alcohol based, they leave no streaks behind. They are refillable, meaning your don't have to keep buying more pens, but instead the cartridges. Each pen has a broad side for big areas, and a fine side for detailed work. They also have tutorials on their website - www.spectrumnoir.com - I purchased these from Traders Outlet in Altrincham for £6.99 but i'm not too sure if they're in many other shops as they're an American brand.
Thank You for reading and please reply if you want me to do any other reviews on a product you may want to hear about
